2026 Leaf Peepers Festival: Event Rundown
Leaf Peepers Festival is upon us, and it looks like the perfect weather to start fall 2026! The weekend is packed full of fun for the entire family, starting Friday, September 25, at 4 p.m. in Davis, WV. Inflatable rides and falconry demonstration by Colin Waybright are favorites of the young and young at heart. Live music begins at 5p.m. with Lyndsey Hull and Band, so grab dinner at one of the food vendors and enjoy music by the river. Then the much anticipated annual Fireman’s Parade promptly starts at 7p.m.
Three Days of Live Music!
Get ready to tap your toes, dance, and enjoy live music all weekend long, beginning Friday, September 25, and continuing through Sunday afternoon. Every show features talented local musicians, with a variety of music sure to have something for everyone—including the kids! The music stages are set up at Davis Riverfront Park and the Chamberfest Pavilion, making it easy to enjoy great music while taking in all the festival fun. Come out, bring the family, and enjoy the sounds of fall in Davis!
Saturday is Packed with Leaf Peepers Events
Shop, Browse & Discover! Crafters and artists bring their creativity to life throughout Leaf Peepers Festival weekend. Head inside the Davis Firehall Saturday and Sunday for the indoor craft show, featuring handmade treasures like painted wood, candles, soaps, ceramics, fabric crafts, primitive creations, baked goods, and more. Then stroll down to Davis Riverfront Park, where outdoor vendors set up alongside the Leaf Peepers Music Stage. Browse local goods, meet the makers, grab a bite, and enjoy live music along the river.
Fun for the Kids! There’s plenty to keep the little ones smiling all weekend long! Kids can enjoy popcorn, lemonade, and flavored shaved ice in between bouncing and playing on inflatable rides at the Davis Firehall. Then show off your creativity with fun face painting. It’s all part of making Leaf Peepers Festival a fun-filled weekend for the whole family!
Run For It — September 27, Davis
The annual morning Run For It 5K Run/Walk brings together runners, walkers and supporters for a fun community fundraiser benefiting local organizations and causes.
Classic Cars & The Start to Fall
Sunday, September 27 the Leaf Peepers Car Show fills the outdoor vendor area with an impressive lineup of muscle cars, vintage beauties, and classic favorites that are sure to turn heads. Over at Canaan Valley Resort, golfers can join the fun at the Fall Colors Golf Tournament, where beautiful mountain scenery meets friendly competition. New for 2026, live music continues into Sunday afternoon along with food vendors and inflatable rides. Don’t forget that the indoor craft show continues Sunday and annual Duck Race to top off the weekend.
