Astronomy Weekend at Blackwater Falls State Park

This will be the 35th year that the Kanawha Valley Astronomical Society has hosted this event at Blackwater Falls State Park. The event is free and open to the public. During the day, quest speakers will give presentations on beginning astronomy to the more advanced astronomy research. Special topics like astrophotography and meteorites are also covered. Nightly star parties will take place (weather permitting) at the Harold Walters Nature Center at Blackwater Falls State Park.
