SUMMARY:Beall Bird Walk
DESCRIPTION:Join us on our monthly guided bird walk along some of the Beall trails! The walk starts at 8am at the Beall parking area and will be approximately 2-3 miles along pavement and dirt trails. \nPlease dress appropriately for the weather and bring some water. This program is open to people of all birding abilities. We’ve got some spare binoculars if needed! \nThese walks occur on the second Saturday of the month. DESCRIPTION:It’s World Migratory Bird Day! Did you know that an estimated 3.5 billion birds migrate into the U.S. each spring? Join us at the Refuge to celebrate all of our spring migrants returning! \nThe day starts off with a bird walk at the Beall Trailhead at 8am. Following that are kids activities at the Visitor Center! This includes a kid’s story time starting at 11am\, followed by crafts and a migration activity. Plus free World Migratory Bird Day posters (while they last)! \nThis event may be rescheduled or canceled in the event of inclement weather.
