DESCRIPTION:Did you know that all the water that falls in Canaan Valley flows towards the Gulf of Mexico? Or that tiny invertebrates can help measure the health of a stream? \nJoin us for a guided hike to learn more about the wonderful watersheds of Canaan Valley! AmeriCorps intern Samantha will lead this hike up Idleman’s Run trail. The walk will be around two miles on gravel and native material trails with portions being very uneven. \nThis event may be rescheduled or canceled in the event of inclement weather. Please stay tuned to our website and Facebook page for updates to this event. We will meet at the Hunter Access Lot at the end of Freeland Road/beginning of Forest Road 80.

Join us for an evening walk to search for this magnificent bird!\nRegistration is required. This is a FREE program\, but space is limited. After a short presentation from LeJay Graffious\, we will take a walk on a service road through grasslands.
