This day I was given permission to visit a few homes in Old Timberline. Exposing all that is great and distinctive to renting a vacation home in Canaan Valley. Located in Davis, West Virginia, Canaan Valley is a short six mile drive south of town and home to Canaan Valley State Park, three ski resorts, and Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge.

Ironically, the biggest complaint I have heard from visitors is that…IT’S TOO QUIET! Canaan Valley is where you are guaranteed and uninterrupted night’s sleep. With your quiet time comes dark skies. Some of the darkest found anywhere on the east coast for that matter. On a cloudless night you can see stars from one horizon to the other with the naked eye.
