Trailside Lodge

The Trail Side Lodge is adjacent to the White Grass Touring Center and Cafe in Davis, West Virginia scenic Canaan Valley, West Virginia. The lodge is operated by long time residents and White Grass founders Chip Chase and Laurie Little.

This new and comfy two bedroom apartment is totally furnished, sleeps four, living room coach for an extra, full kitchen, and bath with tub/shower, washer/dryer, 2 porches. 1,025 sq ft of living space with south facing windows and forested mountainside views. Indoor garage parking and storage for skis, bikes and more. Clear fresh spring water and warm forced air gas heat make for a comfortable stay.

Accommodations are located on the second story, climbing up a flight of steps is required. We are at the end of a quiet rural road and very private, although adjacent to the Chase home.

Seasonal access to the White Grass sauna all winter long. Trail Side Lodge is secluded eight acre reserve with waterfalls, small native trout stream, and shelter within an old growth forest. Stream side trails throughout the property as well as over 100 kilometers hiking trails locally. Expect endless recreational opportunities in this outdoor paradise.
