Join the Canaan Valley State Park Foundation for the most fun you have ever had on the snow – going uphill on your best and fastest backcountry ski gear.
It’s the fastest-growing snow sport out there today, and in Canaan Valley, we go up and down backcountry trails on scaled skis, skin-up skis (AT GEAR), or skate skis so why not try it on the groomed slopes of Canaan Valley Ski Area!
Although this is a timed race, it’s mostly fun and more fun. Participants receive a breakfast burrito while waiting for all the great prizes and awards (some silly) to be handed out.
It all starts bright and early at sunrise on the slopes at Canaan Valley Resort State Park.
Adults – $35 and Kids – $25
