The Tucker County Commission invites the public to celebrate our nation’s milestone
anniversary with a full day of family fun, local history, and community pride!

9:00 AM – Historic Walking Tour (Meet at the Historic Courthouse)
10:00 AM – America250 Ceremony (Posting of Colors, Anthem, Declaration Reading,
Mural and Time Capsule Dedication)
11:00 AM – 2:00 PM – Self-Guided Historic Courthouse Tours
11:00 AM – 2:00 PM – Parsons City Block Party (Hotdogs, Music, and Family Activities!)
10:00 AM – 4:00 PM – Treats and Swag at Five Rivers Library (While supplies last)
6:00 PM – Historical Reenactment (Interview with Martha Washington and Captain
Salathiel Goff at the Parsons Depot)
