The Mountaineer is a bold weekend expedition that captures the spirit of Appalachia—a mix of remote campsites, backcountry terrain, and local highlights. You’ll encounter unmaintained trails and scenic backroads with seasoned explorer and official OnX Offroad Trail Guide: Russ Giovanetti of OVR.
This family-friendly adventure offers a well-balanced experience with several technical sections, story-worthy campsites, and time to relax under the stars. Sidequests could include hiking, fishing, and mountain biking.
Space is limited to 8️⃣ vehicles to maintain an intimate experience.
Skill Level: Beginner’s wanting to advance their off-road skills with moderate terrain, though we do recommend built rigs with 33” tires and some armor.
