Country breakfast proportions with a twist that will satisfy even the most health conscious outdoors men and women. Made with many regional, fresh ingredients, breakfast items range from burritos and omelets to pancakes and locally made granola and yogurt.

Enjoy biscuits the size of your hand and service that gets you out of the door and onto the slopes fast. Conveniently located on Rt. 32 in Canaan Valley, the Breakfast Nook serves up piping hot breakfast seven days a week. Also perfect for to-go orders when getting first tracks are a priority.

CANAAN VALLEY RESORT

When one plate is just not enough, the Hickory Room buffet at Canaan Valley Resort State Park runs Saturday and Sunday through winter. Mid-week, Seasons Café is open for breakfast and lunch in the main lodge. For large groups and fast service, Bear Paw cafeteria serves up breakfast seven days a week at the ski area.

TIP TOP & TRAILHEAD COFFEE SHOPS

There are groups of people who substitute caffeine for actual nourishment. Or, maybe just need a cup of coffee to get proper feeding underway. Either way we have two outstanding café’s with baristas that will take you to the moon. Tip Top is located along the historic boulevard in Thomas, WV and Trail Head Coffee is located in downtown Davis, WV.

SMOKEHOUSE AT BLACKWATER FALLS

Begin your day right with coffee and breakfast overlooking the Blackwater Canyon. Monday thru Friday breakfast is served from their full menu. Most Saturdays during peak winter season you will find an all you can eat buffet, otherwise their full menu is available. Every Sunday locals flock to the buffet line, a ritual as old as the lodge itself. If locals approve, you know the vittles are worthy.
