Astronomy Weekend at Blackwater Falls State Park
September 14-16
Kanawha Valley Astronomical Society will be hosting their 34th Annual Astronomy Weekend at Blackwater Falls State Park. Dark skies at Blackwater Falls State Park are a treasured natural resource. Often, the Milky Way stretches from horizon to horizon! Day events include presentations for beginner to advanced astronomers, while night events include star parties at the Harold Walters Nature Center. All activities are open to the public.

Leaf Peeper’s Festival in Davis
September 22-24
There’s no better way to celebrate the beauty of the season than at the annual Leaf Peeper’s Festival. Since 1983, the town of Davis and the Alpine Festival organization have played host to the fall festival. The weekend includes a 5K/2K Run/Walk, a car show, live music, food vendors and local brews, a craft show and a golf tournament. Follow the Tucker County CVB on Facebook for more information.

ARTober Fest at Timberline Mountain
September 29 – October 1
For the third year, ARTober Fest returns to Timberline Mountain. The event is co-hosted with ArtSpring WV and offers attendees a chance to immerse themselves in Tucker County’s vibrant art community. The family-friendly art festival showcases the incredible talent of our local artists and promises a fun weekend for all!
